　両眼の浅前房，高眼圧，原田病様の症状で発症し，ステロイド治療に反応せず，胞状の網膜剥離がみられ，多発性後極部網膜色素上皮症（MPPE）となった症例を報告した。

　本症に対し，積極的な網膜下液の排液とレーザー光凝固にて症状は改善した。

A 38-year-old male presented with raised intraocular pressure and shallow anterior chamber in both eyes of 3 weeks' duration. Laser iridotomy had been performed to both eyes elsewhere. We observed, additionally, serous retinal detachment in the posterior fundus bilaterally. He was treated with systemic prednisolone at the daily dosis of 150mg under the tentative diagnosis of Harada's dis-ease. On day 16 of treatment, we observed aggrava-tion of retinal detachment and grayish-white exudates in the detached fundus. Signs of inflam-mation in the anterior chamber became more pro-nounced. Fluorescein angiography showed numer-ous patches of dye leakage of variable sizes. We diagnosed the case as multifocal posterior pigment epitheliopathy. Clinical cure resulted after drainage of subretinal fluid and laser photocoagulation.
