要約　目的：Werner症候群の成人に発症した囊胞様黄斑浮腫にトリアムシノロンの硝子体内注射が奏効した報告。症例：66歳の男性が右眼視力の低下で受診した。9年前に遺伝子検査でWerner症候群と診断された。両眼の白内障手術を5年前に受けた。所見と経過：矯正視力は右0.1，左1.5で，眼圧は右32mmHg，左16mmHgであった。前眼部に異常はなく，両眼に眼内レンズ挿入があった。右眼に囊胞様黄斑浮腫があった。トリアムシノロンの硝子体内注射で囊胞様黄斑浮腫は消失したが，視力には変化がなかった。その後14か月間に2回の囊胞様黄斑浮腫の再発があったが，いずれもトリアムシノロンの硝子体内注射で改善した。結論：Werner症候群の成人に発症した囊胞様黄斑浮腫にトリアムシノロンの硝子体内注射が奏効した。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a case of Werner's syndrome in whom intravitreal injection of triamcinolone was effective for cystoid macular edema. Case：A 66-year-old male presented with impaired vision in the right eye. He had been diagnosed with Werner’s syndrome after genetic examinations. He had received cataract surgery in both eyes 5 years before. Findings and Clinical Course：Corrected visual acuity was 0.1 right and 1.5 left. Intraocular pressure was 32 mmHg right and 16 mmHg left. Both eyes showed implanted intraocular lens. The right eye showed cystoid macular edema. Intravitreal injection of triamcinolone was followed by resolution of cystoid macular edema. Two recurrences during the following 14 months were effectively treated by similar means. Conclusion：Intravitreal injection of triamcinolone was effective for cystoid macular edema in a case of Werner's syndrome.
