Abstract 文献概要

　Ritchの隅角鏡を用いてレーザートラベクロプラスティ（LTP）を開放隅角緑内障12例16眼に行い，その成績を通常のコートされた3面鏡による17例24眼のLTPの成績と比較した．Ritchの隅角鏡によるLTPは隅角の観察と凝固が容易であり，照射エネルギーも350-500mWと半減できる．眼圧下降効果は両群の間に有意の差がなく，術後の一過性眼圧上昇はRitchの隅角鏡を用いたほうが少なかった．

A series of 40 eyes (29 cases) with variable types of open-angle glaucoma were treated by laser trabeculo-plasty. Laser trabeculoplasty was performed using the Ritch goniolens in 16 eyes and using the conventional 3-mirror Goldmann lens in 24 eyes (control group).

Use of Ritch goniolens facilitated visualization of thechamber angle and application of laser. The power output of laser could be halved to the level between 350 and 500 mW. There was no difference in the reduction of intraocular pressure between the two group.incidence of transient elevation of intraocular pressure during the immediate post-treatment period was smal-ler when treated with the Ritch goniolens.
