緒言
私は第2報にて過沃度酸Shiff氏染色法（以下P．A．S．と略称）による網膜毛細血管瘤及び位相差顕微鏡による脳内毛細血管の観察について発表したが，以後症例を累ねいささか知見を得たので報告する。
30 cases of retinal and cerebral lesions were pathologically investigated, whose ages were over 40 years old with one exception. The staining method was previously stated in the 1-st and the 2nd report. The following results were obtained.
1) Varixes of the retinal blood capillaries were found in the aged, without any relatio-nship to diabetes or hypertension.
2) The arterial side or the venous side had been affected, but there could be found no difference between various diseases.
3) Varixes of the cases with diabetes and hypertension were found in the posterior reti-nal pole.
