眼科領域に於ける筋注用ペントバルビタールナトリウムの使用量に対する検討並に肝臓機能に及ぼす影響に就て

The studies about the dosage of Penthobarbital by intramuscular injection in the ophth. bield and its influence against then liver function.

　先に，私は，米村と共に，眼科領域に於ける各種手術の前麻酔に田辺製藥の試作剤である筋注用ペントバルビタール・ナトリウム（以下P．B．N．と略称す）を試用し，良好な成績を得た。又，これを用いて家兎実験を行い，病理組織学的に研索した。その後，更に私は，P．B．N．の使用量に就て検討を加え，併せてP．B．N．筋注前後に肝臓機能検査を行つたので，之等の成績を茲に報告する。

1) The first dosage of Penthobarbital used as premedictin in all the ophthalamic surgery exclu-ding child was 0.12 G. sufficienity but 0.15 G. seen to be necessary in a drunkard or a well developed person.

2) The adding dosage was enough in the half of the first dosage.

3) 2 times of repeated administration were enough.

4) The first administration should be done 30 minutes before operation.

5) No influence was proved against pulse and respiration but blood pressure was diminished markedly.

6) By the liver function test, no effect was proved against the liver.

7) No urinal protein was proved post-operatively.
