緒言
眼球突出は眼窩疾患の最も重要な症候とされ，その原因も種々多様である。またその診断および治療は困難をきたすことが多く，難解な疾患ではあるが，一方興味ある問題も多く含まれている。
原因として血管異常（Circulatory disturban—ces）による眼球突出は比較的まれではあるが，眼科的に特異な症状を示すために古くから記載されている。拍動性眼球突出症（Pulsating exo—phthalmos）はTravers1）が1813年に，間歇性眼球突出症（Intermittent exophthalmos）は1805年にSchmidt2）による報告が認められる。
Two cases of exophthalmos due to circulatory disturbances were reported in this paper.
One was pulsating exophthlamos, and another was intermittent exophthalmos.
Case 1. A 19-year-old female. The pulsating exophthalmos was caused by the right side caro-tid cavernous fistula. The patient developed bilateral pulsating exophthalmos and glaucoma.
Examination showed exophthalmos ;
R. E= 21mm, L. E=19mm with Hertel's exo-phthalmometer. Ocular tension with Schiötz tonometer ;R. E = 26.5mmHg. L. E = 22.0mmHg.
