緒言
余は先に原爆白内障に関する研究課題の重要項目中に，水晶体混濁の形態的（臨床的）変遷の追及，乃至被爆放射線量の研究を掲げた。
依つて長期に亘つて観察を続けている実験症例において，これ等の項目につき研究を行ない得たので，ここに報告する。
A long-term clinical followup has been con-ducted on a female with radiation cataract. The patient had been exposed to A-bomb deto-nation in Hiroshima at the distance of 750 meters from the epicenter at the age of 15. The patient was supposedly exposed to under 1,691.3 rad according to the T65D dose estimation by JNIH-ABCC. The presence of radiation cata-ract was first detected in 1949 and was known to be progressing during 15 years following the radiation.
The latest clinical studies in 1970 revealed the following features as compared with those of 1961 :
