I．緒言

　最近約1カ年間に東京船員保険病院を訪れた網膜静脈血栓症，眼外傷，糖尿病性網膜症，白血病性網膜症などの眼底に大出血を見た数例^1）について報告する次第である。

Case studies concerning severe retinal he-morrhage during the past one-year activity of the author in the Tokyo Seamen's Hospital are presented.

1 . Severe retinal hemorrhage occurred in 7 cases of thrombosis of the cental retinal vein, 2 cases of ocular injury with traumatic papillitis and hemorrhage into the vitreous body, and 1 case each of diabetic retinopathy and leucemic retinopathy.

2. Retinal hemorrhage was mild in its early stages not later than 2 months after the onset and also in cases of uncomplicated arterioscle-rosis or hypertension.
