I．緒言

　白内障や緑内障等の眼球開壁手術後にしばしば脈絡膜剥離が合併するということは古くから知られている^1）2）3）。術後脈絡膜剥離は自然に治癒する傾向が大で，一般に予後は良い。後極部附近まで及ぶ巨大なものでは一時的に網膜機能の障害を惹起するが^4），同時に見られる低眼圧及び浅前房乃至前房消失が持続すると，虹彩周辺前癒着，続発緑内障及び角膜混濁等の重篤な合併症の危険があり^5），臨床上重要である。先に著者の一人竹内は^6），白内障全摘出後に続発した1例を報告したが，その後同様の症例を経験したので追加報告する。

A report is presented over the occurrence of choroidal detachment after surgery. The condition occurred in 6 eyes (8.4%) after 71 cataract operations and in 2 eyes (9%) after surgery for glaucoma.

1. The choroidal detachment occurred ex-clusively after intracapsular cataract extra-ctions. The detachments invariably took place at the 9th to 18th postoperative day and was accompanied by sudden loss of anterior cha-mber and marked hypotony. In 3 eyes the detachment disappeared by medical treatment alone consisting of extreme mydriasis and acetazolamide administration.
