I．緒言

　白内障全摘出後の種々の合併症中，瞳孔の変形および偏位は，視力，視野および美容に影響をおよぼす可能性のある重要な併発症の一つである。本研究に於ては白内障全摘出後の前房隅角を生体眼に於て観察し，瞳孔の変形ないし偏位の発生機構におよぼす隅角の役割を明らかにし，その予防法についても考按を行い，且つ同時に観察される若干の所見について考察し，併せて断帯酵素の影響をも検討せんとするものである。

A study was madeto elucidate the role of the anterior chamber angle on pathogenesis of deformity and ectopia of the pupil result-ing from intracapsular cataract extraction, with additional aims of evaluating the pre-ventive method and the influence of zonuloly-tic enzyme on this complication. The angle of the anterior chamber was observed on the 107 eyes with the help of Ogino's gonioprism and Haag-Streit's slit lamp.

1. Diformity and ectopia of the pupil ap-peared in higher rate among those who de-veloped anterior synechia of the iris to the incision scar of the cornea than those who showed no synechia.
