網膜色素変性症の増悪因子とストレスに就いて

Notes upon stress as increasing in the pigmentary degeneration of the retina

I．緒論

　種々のストレスが身体に加わつた場合，その衝撃が間脳に達し，視床下部，下垂体間の内分泌が行なわれ，その分泌物は血行を介して眼に働き種々の眼疾患を発病せしめ，或は既存疾患の病状を悪化させる事が想像出来る。

　網膜色素変性症はその本態が非常に複雑で今日尚究明されない儘になつているが，その病状がストレスの加わる事によって急激に増悪する事も考えられる。著者はストレスの作用によつて網膜色素変性症の病状の悪化したと考えられる2例を報告し，いささかの考按を試みた。

The author reported the prognosis of two cases with pigmentary degeneration of retina, the one, aged 29 woman, whose symptoms became suddenly worse after a traffic accid-ent few years ago, and the other, aged 15 female, whose condition of the disease took a turn for the worse by the complication of acute rheumatic artritis and shown disturb-ances of the visual acuity and the visual field for all the treatment of pigmentary degene-ration of retina.

From those cases, the author discussed that this disease related closely to the stress which H. Selye asserted.
