I．緒言

　通常美容の目的で行われる二重瞼手術は，たとえ手術そのものに特別の難点はなかつたとしても術後形成された二重瞼の幅や形状等に対する患者の主観的な要求から，往々再手術せざるを得ない場合が生ずる。

　私は先に恩師広瀬教授が，かかる症例に対し，創意の方法で自から執刀されたのを見学し，また自分でも最近1例に手術して，極めて満足すべき結果を得たので，茲に広瀬教授の手術法を紹介し併せて自分の手術経験について述べたいと思う。

Prof. K. Hirose's orginal method for reha-bilitation surgery of cosmetic double-lid oper-ation was reported. The idea of this method is to seperate the subcutaneous connective tissues complete without any damage to thelid skin through a conjunctival incision 3~4 mm., which is made at the super margin of tarsus. To keep the lid skin smooth it some-times needs expedient fat transplantation th-rough the conjunctival wound.

A reconstructive suture for new double-lid formation may be subjoined in case of need. By this operation method some cares shouldbe taken concerning the following point ;
