要約　目的：悪性腫瘍の治療中にサイトメガロウイルス網膜炎が発症した症例の報告。症例：80歳男性が右眼の視力低下で受診した。6年前に前立腺癌と診断され，ステロイドと抗癌薬の投与を受けていた。所見：矯正視力は右0.8，左0.7で，網膜出血と滲出斑が両眼の中間周辺部にあった。前房水からサイトメガロウイルスが検出され，サイトメガロウイルス網膜炎と診断した。ガンシクロビル硝子体内投与などで寛解した。4か月後に左眼に網膜剝離が生じ，シリコーンオイルを併用した輪状締結で網膜は復位した。発症から22か月後の現在，右0.8，左0.3の視力を維持している。結論：抗癌治療中で免疫低下状態にある高齢者での視力低下では，サイトメガロウイルス網膜炎の可能性がある。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a case of cytomegalovirus（CMV）retinitis that developed during treatment for malignancy. Case：An 80-year-old male presented with impaired vision in the right eye. He had been diagnosed with prostate carcinoma 6 years before and been receiving systemic corticosteroid and chemotherapy. Findings：Corrected visual acuity was 0.8 right and 0.7 left. Both eyes showed hemorrhage and exudates in the midperipheral retina. He was diagnosed with CMV retinitis after detection of CMV in the aqueous. The retinitis subsided after intravitreal injection of ganciclovir. Retinal detachment developed in the left eye 4 months later. The retinal became reattached after scleral encircling with silicone oil tamponade. Visual acuity stabilized at 0.8 right and 0.3 left 22 months after onset. Conclusion：This case illustrates that CMV retinitis is a liability in a senile person with immunologically affected state.
