アシタザノラスト水和物点眼液の季節性アレルギー性結膜炎に対する季節前投与の効果

Effect of preseasonal use of acitazanolast hydrate ophthalmic solution for seasonal allergic conjunctivitis

要約　目的：季節性アレルギー性結膜炎に対するアシタザノラスト点眼液の季節前投与の効果の報告。対象と方法：前年までに季節性アレルギー性結膜炎と診断され，スギ花粉に対する血清IgE RASTまたは皮膚テストが陽性の患者23例23眼に，花粉飛散が予測される2週間前から，1日4回のアシタザノラスト水和物の点眼を6週間続けた。スギ花粉飛散の開始後に発症した患者10例10眼に，アシタザノラストを1日4回，4週間点眼した。投与前後の自他覚所見を2週毎に検討した。結果：季節前に投与した症例では，花粉飛散の開始前と開始後で自他覚所見の変化がなかった。花粉飛散の開始後に治療した10眼では，投与の2週後に搔痒感が改善し，以後4週後まで続いた。これら10眼と比べ，季節前投与例では，搔痒感，流涙，球結膜と瞼結膜の充血，結膜濾胞のスコアが有意に低かった。副作用はいずれの症例群にもなかった。結論：アシタザノラストの点眼は，季節性アレルギー性結膜炎の発症後の自覚症状を改善し，季節前投与により症状の悪化を抑制する。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report preventive effect of acitazanolast for seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Cases and Method：Acitazanolast hydrate was given to 23 eyes of 23 patients who had been diagnosed as seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in the previous year. The solution was instilled 4 times daily,starting 2 weeks before the expected pollen season to be continued for 6 weeks. Another series of 10 eyes of 10 patients were given the same medication for 4 weeks after allergic conjunctivitis became manifest. Patients were examined every 2 weeks. Results：There were no changes in clinical signs in the 23 eyes after onset of pollen season. In the other group of 10 eyes,symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis improved 2 weeks after start of treatment. Eyes in the prophylactically treated group showed lower scores for itchiness,lacrimation,conjunctival hyperemia and conjunctival follicles. Conclusion：Acitazanolast ophthalmic solution alleviates symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis after they have become manifest. It prevents exacerbation of symptoms by oreseasonal use.
