　母指中手指節関節（以下MCP関節）背側脱臼は比較的稀である．われわれは受傷後13日目に来院し徒手整復不能であった小児例で，鏡視下に掌側板を整復することにより，MCP関節背側脱臼を整復しえた症例を経験したので報告した．

　A case of dorsal dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint of the thumb is reported. A 6-year-old boy was brought to our hospital 13 days after injuring his thumb. An attempt at closed reduction of the dislocation under general anesthesia the next day did not succeed. Reduction of the dislocation of the MCP joint of the thumb was achieved by arthroscopic reduction of the volar plate.
