I．はじめに

　硬膜内の類上皮腫の報告は少なくないが^10），一方，板障内類上皮腫の報告は少なく，現在までに約100例が報告されているにすぎない^9）13）。さらに，本邦では，狭義の定型的な板障内発育（intradiploic extension）を示した症例の報告が少ない^14）。

　今回，著者らはintradiploic extensionを示した1例を経験したので報告し，さらに本群の発生部位頻度，年齢および性別頻度，レ線学的特長，外傷との関係などについて集計的観察を行なつたので報告する。

1) Sixteen year old boy: the operated case with hen's egg's large intradiploic epidermoid in the right frontal bone was reported.

2) Sixty three cases reported in foreign countries were reviewed. Sex incidence, age at onset, side oftumor, X-ray's finding and correlation with trauma were discussed. As only five cases, including our case were reported in Japan, so we could not make comparison between Japanese and other countries cases.

3) This condition is relatively uncommon but the X-ray's findings of the skull prove fairly variable in determing bony involvement. If this case was re-cognized the typical findings of this craniograms at the first visit to the clinic, patient might have been received operation about 7 years earlier.
