【抄録】　てんかん発作と精神分裂病（様）症状が近接して出現した3症例を報告した。いわゆる〈てんかん精神病〉患者では，通常てんかん発作の初発後十数年から数十年してから精神分裂病症状が発症する例が圧倒的に多いとされる。今回の我々の症例では，てんかん発作と精神病症状の初発時期がほぼ同時期ないしはせいぜい数年間の間隔であった。他の特徴として3症例中2症例はこれまでの報告と異なり陰性症状が重篤であったこと，そしててんかん発作とその治療への反応性は，てんかん発作は軽度であり，治療反応性も良好であったことである。

　We observed 3 cases of epileptic patients that showed psychotic symptoms. Contrary to phenomena observed in ordinary cases, these cases demonstrated a very short interval between epileptic seizure and the onset of schizophrenia-like symptoms. Ordinarily, in cases of epileptic psychosis, the psychotic symptoms appear a few years or ten or more years after the onset of epileptic seizure. But in our cases, the psychotic symptoms appeared within a year at most after the epileptic attacks.

　The features of our 3 cases are as follows : 1. The interval between the epileptic seizures and the onset of psychotic symptoms ware very close. It was within 1 year at most. 2. Except in one case (case 2), negative symptoms were relatively severe from the time of psychotic onset. 3. The response to the antiepileptic drugs was relatively good.
