要旨●患者は40歳代，女性．右下腹部痛の精査目的で大腸内視鏡検査を行ったところ，上行結腸に虫体を認めた．内視鏡的にはアニサキスやその他の寄生虫との鑑別に難渋したが，虫体の標本を作製したところ，形態と特徴的な虫卵を認めたため鞭虫症と診断した．

　A 49-year-old female presented with pain in the right lower abdomen. On endoscopic examination of the large intestine, a parasite was observed in the ascending colon, which was similar to Anisakis larvae, but we could not distinguish it from other parasites. Finally, we diagnosed trichuriasis due to the characteristic parasitic form and eggs.
