要旨●消化管における画像診断のエンドポイントは病変の病理組織構築像を推定していかに質的診断，深達度診断に迫れるかである．そのためには得られた画像所見と病理組織像を一対一で対比し，比較検討することが重要である．画像診断プレゼンテーションに必要な基本的な検査手順，画像提示のポイント，切除標本の病理学的所見と画像所見の比較，検討方法について実際の症例提示とともに概説した．

　The ultimate purpose for diagnostic imaging of the gastrointestinal tract is to make qualitative and depth diagnoses that are as accurate as possible after making estimations based on histopathological findings of a lesion. To do this, it is important to compare each individual imaging finding with each histopathological finding. Here, the basic examination procedure required for diagnostic imaging presentation, image display points, and methods of comparing the histopathological findings of resected specimens with imaging findings have been outlined together with an actual case presentation.
