　ブドウ糖液が胃排出に及ぼす影響については，Huntら¹⁾はすでに十二指腸にあると想定されるOsmoreceptorによって液の浸透圧に応じたコントロールがあるとされている．浸透圧が高いほど胃排出は遅延する．

　胃排出は種々の胃の病態や胃液分泌能と関連している^2)～4)ので，当然ブドウ糖液を胃内に注入したとき胃排出に関して生ずる反応も，それぞれの病態や胃液分泌能によって異ってくるであろうと推定される．著者らは，種々の胃疾患におけるブドウ糖の胃排出に及ぼす影響を検討したのでここに報告する．

　The effects of glucose on the gastric emptying in various gastric diseases were studied by double sampling method after George with liquid test meal. The results are as follows:

　1. Gastric emptying was more delayed by solution of higher concentration than of lower one, and more delayed in cases with higher acid secretion than with lower one.

　2. In the cases with benign lesions, such as gastric ulcer and gastritis, lower secretory stomach was not so much affected by glucose in gastric emptying as high secretory one in which remarkable delay of gastric emptying was recorded.

　3. In the cases with early gastric cancer, gastric emptying was strongly inhibited by glucose instillation, though they displayed low acid serectory stomachs. These responses were quite different from those in benign lesions.
