近年，AI（artificial intelligence）は目覚ましい進歩を遂げている．医療の領域にも，AIは応用されてきており，その重要性は日ごとに増しつつある．本稿では，膠原病診療，特に全身性強皮症や乾癬診療におけるAIの活用例として，手の写真や爪郭部毛細血管所見の重要性やその臨床的な意義について紹介する．
