病理組織学的に皮膚T細胞性リンパ腫との鑑別を必要とした疥癬

・皮膚T細胞性リンパ腫として治療中に角化型疥癬を発症した1例を経験した．・皮膚T細胞性リンパ腫による皮疹と疥癬による皮疹を臨床的に区別することはむずかしい場合がある．・末梢血の著明な好酸球増多がある場合や組織中に好酸球が多数浸潤している場合は疥癬を疑い，頻回に鏡検すべきである．（「症例のポイント」より）

He suffered from itchy small nodular skin lesions. Previous doctor thought this symptoms as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and prescribed both etoposide and topical corticosteroids. As those treatment did not improve his skin symptoms. Therefore, he developed crusted scabies. After he was treated with ivermectin and phenothrin, rash was resolved but he died of respiratory failure by aspiration.
