高度肥満患者に対して術前リハーサルを行い安全に周術期管理を行った1症例

The Anesthetic Management of a Morbidly Obese Patient, with a Preoperative Rehearsal

要旨

　高度肥満患者の麻酔管理で術前に手術室に患者を招聘してリハーサルを行った報告は少ない。今回，高度肥満患者に対して術前にリハーサルを行うことで，スムーズに麻酔導入，体位変換，体位保持を行い，安全に麻酔管理を行うことができた。高度肥満患者の麻酔管理に携わる機会は増加しており，術前リハーサルが有用な可能性がある。

　Few reports concerning the anesthetic management of severely obese patients have described inviting the patient to the operating room for a preoperative rehearsal. We report the case of a severely obese patient（BMI 61） for whom a preoperative rehearsal was conducted；we were able to smoothly induce anesthesia, change the patient’s position, and maintain the patient’s position, allowing for safe anesthesia management. Opportunities for the anesthetic management of severely obese patients are increasing, and a preoperative rehearsal may be useful in such cases.
