Deviated Nose Correction with an Asian Dorsal Preservation Rhinoplasty

はじめに

　欧米では2018年のDanielの報告より，鼻の組織を温存しながら外鼻形成術を行うpreservation rhinoplasty 1）が主流の1つとなり，現在ではToriumiらのstructure rhinoplasty 2）3）と相互に補完したhybrid rhinoplastyが世界の外鼻手術の潮流となっている。機能的なpreservation rhinoplastyの対象の1つが斜鼻手術であり，曲がった鼻骨と鼻中隔を一括りに正中化する方法と考える。今回，機能的外鼻手術における男性の鼻と女性の鼻の違いも踏まえながらpreservation rhinoplastyで行う斜鼻手術の方法について述べる。

　I have performed deviated nose correction surgery using dorsal preservation rhinoplasty for Asian patients. Many Asian patients with a deviated nose have found this to be a very effective method. Since most Asian patients with a deviated nose tend to have a smaller nose compared to Western patients, some feel a sense of loss such as that associated with a lower nose after the surgery. In my experience, this is more common in male patients. It is therefore necessary to perform a functional dorsal preservation rhinoplasty that is tailored to Asian patients.
