Radiomics is a method that extracts quantitative features from medical images and uses statistical analysis and machine learning to infer and construct relationships with other diagnostic information. Radiogenomics combines image analysis features with genomic analysis information to aid in cancer classification, prognosis, and recurrence prediction. Recent research has demonstrated the high accuracy of using radiomics/radiogenomics techniques for diagnosing breast cancer and determining treatment strategies. For example, it can accurately predict breast cancer subtypes and lymph node metastasis based on image features. Radiogenomics has also shown potential in predicting cancer progression and treatment response by exploring the relationship between genomic profiles and image features. The application of radiomics/radiogenomics techniques has been extensively reported, and further validation through large-scale multicenter studies is a future challenge.
