脳血流SPECTによる経過観察の有用性

The usefulness of follow-up by cerebral blood flow SPECT

核医学検査では機能変化を画像的に評価することが可能である。本稿では日常診療でしばしば用いられる脳血流SPECTによる認知症の経過観察，脳血行再建術前後の経過観察，脳炎治療前後の経過観察，脳血流SPECTとイオマゼニルSPECTによるてんかんの経過観察の有用性について概説する。なお他の領域における核医学検査による経過観察をするうえでの有用性は周知であるが頁数に制限があることから他書を参照されたい。

Cerebral blood flow SPECT provides functional information linked to metabolism or receptor distribution, even if organic lesions are not detected by CT or MRI, those are necessary for medical treatment. This paper summarized the usefulness of follow-up by cerebral blood flow SPECT in dementia, hemodynamic ischemia, encephalitis, and epilepsy. Amyloid PET will be widely used for the diagnosis of AD in future, and the cerebral perfusion SPECT would play an important role in determining its indication, screening, and follow-up.
