新型コロナウイルス感染症COVID-19（coronavirus disease 2019）の世界的流行がみられ始めた2020年以降，COVID-19との関連が疑われる脳梗塞が多数報告されている^1-4）。今回我々はCOVID-19発症後に脳梗塞を発症した4症例を経験したので，COVID-19発症後に脳梗塞を発症する頻度，脳梗塞の機序，脳梗塞の発症時期，COVID-19重症度と脳梗塞発症の関連について既報の文献を交えて考察する。

We present 4 patients suffering acute ischemic stroke in COVID-19. Two patients showed multiple hemorrhagic infarctions and the other two showed embolic infarction. The incidence of stroke in COVID-19 was approximately 0.7％, stroke occurred 4 days to 19 days after the onset of COVID-19 symptom in our cases. The severity of COVID-19 does not necessarily correlate with the incidence of the ischemic stroke in our cases. It is important to know the mechanism and imaging findings of stroke in COVID-19 to care patients timely.
