近年のcomputed tomography(CT)やartificial intelligence(AI)技術の進歩により,胸部領域においても,結節の検出,良悪診断,CT検査の低線量化など様々な分野で開発や研究が進んでいる。このため,日常臨床や検診にて多数の結節がCTで検出されるようになり,特に,すりガラス型結節や部分充実型結節においては,その診断やマネジメントの仕方も重要となる。
Recently, artificial intelligence(AI)is being applied to various meidical fields. In thoracic areas, many researches aiming for practical application have been conducted in a wide range of areas such as nodule detection, nodule differentiation, and improvement of CT and MRI image quality. Along with this, a large number of nodules are detected on CT in clinical practice and medical examinations. In particular, in the case of subsolid nodules, the method of diagnosis and management is also important. The measurement of solid components on CT is crucial for management in the domestic guideline of the CT Screening Society and the international guidelines of the Fleischner Society and the Lung-RADS. In this article, we would like to explain lung cancer diagnosis using AI, application of AI to dose reduction on CT, and management of pulmonary nodules.
