Among several digital chest X-Ray(CXR)techniques, virtual grid(VG), temporal subtraction(TS), and bone suppression(BS)are the most promising and desirable for enhancement of lung lesions. VG reduces scattering and derives high contrast images especially on portable CXR in wards. TS erase all the background other than time interval changes of CXR by subtraction between previous and current images. BS erase bone images from CXR to increase contrast of lung lesions. BS is also useful for pediatric lung disease. Understanding of these techniques are useful for radiologist in daily clinical diagnosis scenes
