脊髄係留症候群（tethered cord syndrome：TCS）は，脊髄終糸の肥厚や脊髄脂肪腫などのさまざまな原因により，発達過程において脊髄の上昇が妨げられ，脊髄が長軸方向に牽引され，特徴的な神経症状を示す症候群である1）．われわれは，無症状で推移したTCSに腰椎変性疾患を合併し，成人発症したTCS（adult onset TCS：ATCS）の2例を経験したので報告する．
