上腕骨近位部骨折AO分類type C3（AO-C3骨折）は，上腕骨解剖頚骨折と骨頭脱臼を合併した骨折である．比較的まれな骨折で報告数も少なく，骨頭骨片への血行障害による無腐性骨頭壊死（AVN）がしばしば問題になる．われわれは，受傷後早期に観血的整復とプレート固定を行い，5年以上の経過観察が可能であったAO-C3骨折の2例を経験したので報告する．
