看護診断のための初期教育教材としてWeb型看護診断CAI教材を作成し,看護診断教育の授業において実践した.15週の授業のうち,最初の6週間で基礎を学習した後,学生を2組に分けた.Aグループは先にCAI演習を3週間行い,その後紙上演習を3週間行った.Bグループはその逆の順序で行った.その結果,2つの組の評価結果の間に明らかな違いがみられた(p<0.01;χ2-test).先にCAI演習を行ったAグループの学生において「よくできた」と評価した割合がBグループに比べてより高かった.このことから,Web型看護診断CAIの利用は,看護診断の初期教育に対して有効な教育法であるということが示唆された.
We developed the Web based simulator for the fundamental education of Nursing Diagnosis and practiced it in the Nursing Diagnosis class. After 6 weeks of classroom lectures in the fundamentals the class was divided into two groups. A group was exposed to CAI simulation in the first three weeks and did the traditional paper simulation in the next three weeks. B group did this in reverse order. There was a statistically significant difference (p<0.01;χ2-test) on tests scores between the two groups. Students in A group (CAI first) had higher scores on a number of outcomes than did students in B group. This suggests that using the CAI simulation before the paper simulation is an effective instructional method for fundamental education in Nursing Diagnosis.
