要旨:われわれは地域在中のがん経験者を対象にした,ピアや作業療法士との対話,活動日記の振り返り,作業に焦点を当てた目標設定,目標の経過の共有という特徴を持った教室を考案した.本報告の目的は,この教室が生活の質に与えた影響を事例の経過から検討することだった.治療完了後もしくは治療中の女性3名に対して,教室を1週間に1回の頻度で6回開催した.結果,すべての参加者が少なくとも部分的に目標を達成し,かつ生活の質が向上した.この要因として,活動日記の記録の振り返りと目標設定により参加者の作業に対する認識が向上したこと,ピアと作業療法士双方が支持的に関わったことが考えられる.
A workshop was designed for community-based cancer survivors, which included dialogues with peers and occupational therapists, reflections in an occupational diary, occupation-focused goal setting, and sharing of goal progress. This report aimed to explore the impact of this workshop on the quality of life of the participating cancer survivors. Three women who had completed or were still in treatment participated in the workshops, which were held six times a week. Results showed that all participants at least partially achieved their goals and improved their quality of life. This may be because the participants' awareness of occupations was enhanced through reflection via the occupational diaries and goal-setting, and because both peers and occupational therapists were involved in a supportive relationship.
