フローチャートを用いた精神障害者の課題遂行分析

Analysis of task performance for patients with mental disorders by using a new flowchart

要旨：精神障害者が生活課題を遂行できなくなったときに，作業療法士が行う躓きの原因探索の方法と躓きへの援助方法を明らかにするため，行動に加えて精神的な処理の過程を含むフローチャートを作成した．統合失調症患者を対象として，鉄道を利用しX市からY町まで移動する課題を行わせた．課題を達成できなかった対象者の躓きの原因をフローチャートを用いて検討したところ，躓きの原因を同定することができた．躓きが同定された結果，被検者の問題点に焦点のあった援助を行うことができた．以上のことから，精神的な処理の過程を含むフローチャートを用い評価することによって，我々は対象者に応じた援助を提供できると考えた．

　We examined the applicability of a new flowchart analysis based on not only behavioral but also thinking processes. In this study, schizophrenic patients were required to perform the task of taking a train from X City to Y Town. We clarified failure points on the performance of each patient and examined cause of failures by using this flowchart. Then we gave them concrete advise on how to avoid future failures. We confirmed that our flowchart significantly improves patients' performance and helps us to provide them with relevant treatment, effective and immediate assistance and guidance.
