訪問リハビリテーションに従事する作業療法士のメンタルヘルスに関する研究—病院に勤務する作業療法士との比較を通して

The mental health of occupational therapists providing home-visit rehabilitation: A comparison with hospital-based occupational therapists

要旨：仕事のストレス要因とストレス反応の関連性を明らかにすることはストレス対処に寄与すると言われているが，作業療法分野において，働く領域ごとにストレス要因やストレス反応を比較した研究は見られない．本研究では，訪問リハビリテーションに従事する作業療法士（以下，訪問OTR）・病院に勤務する作業療法士（以下，病院OTR）を対象とした仕事のストレス要因，ストレス反応に関する実態調査を行った．結果として，訪問OTRは，病院OTRと比較するとストレスは低く，メンタルヘルスは良好であるということが示唆された．また，両群共にストレス反応に最も影響するストレス要因として「やりがい・適性」が抽出された．

　In order to clarify the stress coping mechanisms of occupational therapists, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between the causes of stress and their effects. However, no studies have compared stress responses and stress factors for occupational therapists according to place of work. This study used a survey to investigate the stress responses and stress factors of occupational therapists working at both hospitals (hospital OTR) and at homes of the patient (visiting OTR). The results indicate that visiting OTRs experienced less stress than hospital OTRs. Furthermore, visiting OTRs exhibited good mental health. Stress factors in both groups were “challenges and aptitude”.
