  • Look Inside

A 41-year-old man underwent laparoscopic wedge resection under the diagnosis of a 3 cm gastric submucosal tumor. Because the tumor was accidentally ruptured during laparoscopic surgery, wedge resection was completed after upper midline laparotomy. Pathological examination and immunohistological staining showed that the tumor cells were positive for CD 34 and c-kit but negative for HHF 35, and the tumor was di-agnosed as GIST.
