【コラム】遠隔医療，オンライン家族面会の活用—遠隔医療システムは日常的な使用が災害時に活きる

Utilization of telemedicine and online family visits

新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）のパンデミックにより世界中が混乱に陥る一方で，接触感染のリスクを回避しながらコミュニケーションを可能にするデジタルツールへの注目度が一気に高まった。臨床現場でもさまざまなツールが導入され日常的に使われるようになってきてはいるものの，こうしたデジタルツールを用いた遠隔医療の知見は取り組みレベルのものがほとんどである。しかし，その有用性に関しては，十分な可能性を秘めており，今後の展開が期待される。本コラムでは，パンデミックを含めた災害と遠隔医療（主に集中治療に関連したもの）の知見について紹介し，今後の課題と展望について述べたい。

The novel coronavirus is sowing confusion around the world, and the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an inevitable surge in the use of digital technologies to minimize the increased risk of infection associated with face-to-face contact. Many technologies and tools have been used clinically；however, the knowledge of telemedicine technology is not yet consistently employed in the health care system in a routine fashion. This paper presents knowledge and evidence regarding the benefits of telemedicine （mainly related to intensive care）.
