Two Cases of the Ectopic Thyroid Gland

I．はじめに

　異所性甲状腺は頸部腫瘍のうちでは稀なものであるが，誤って摘出すると生涯甲状腺機能低下症に悩むことになり，頸部腫瘍としては充分な鑑別診断が必要な疾患と思われる。われわれは前頸部腫瘤を主訴とした異所性甲状腺を2例経験したので若干の考察を加えてここに報告する。

　Two cases of the ectopic thyroid gland were reported. Case 1, a 36-year-old female, had three ectopic glands, a lingual and two cervical, without orthotopic thyroid gland tissue.

　Case 2, a 15-year-old female, had a non-functioning ectopic cervical thyroid gland that was revealed by postoperative pathological diagnosis. She had a orthotopic thyroidal tissue. ¹³¹I scintigram played an important role in diagnosis and operation.
