先天性梅毒患者にみられた難聴

Five Cases of Late Congenital Labyrinthine Syphilis

I．緒言

　いわゆる迷路梅毒については古くより数多くの研究，報告があり^1〜13），患者数も減少していると一般には言われているが，近年，徐々に増加しつつあるとの報告^8,11）もあり，その多様な臨床症状，診断の困難さ，長期の臨床経過，患者の苦悩などを合わせ考える時，本疾患は古くて新しい疾患であるとの認識を持つ必要があると考え，最近経験した晩発性先天性梅毒に伴う難聴の5症例について若干の文献的考察を加え，報告する次第である。

　Five cases of late congenital labyrinthine syphilis seen at our hospital from 1980 to 1982 are presented and discussed. Patients have suffered from various symptoms such as tinnitus, vertigo, hearing loss etc. for a long period of time.

　Early diagnosis and treatment should especially be done to improve these symptoms of late congenital labyrinthine syphilis.
