外歯瘻8例の治療経験

Eight Cases of External Dental Fistula

　I．はじめに

　歯牙の炎症に由来する瘻，いわゆる歯瘻は通常口腔内に開口部をもつ内歯瘻の型をとり，顔面の皮膚に瘻孔をきたす外歯瘻は比較的稀といえる。この外歯瘻は歯牙の症状よりも顔面皮膚の炎症症状の方が顕著であるため，瘻孔の原因が見逃がされ易く，完治に至るまで長い日数を要する例もみられる。歯科，口腔外科領域での本症の報告は散見されるが，耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告は稀である。しかし，本症患者が耳鼻科を訪れる事もあり，最近数年間に我々は本症の8例を経験したので，治療方針などにつき報告する。

　Eight cases of external dental fistula which recently became rather rare are reported. All cases were initially treated as fistula or abscess of face, but not dental disorder. Therefore they did not heal for a long period of time, and they repeated formation of abscesses. The most effective treatment of this disease is to extract a causative tooth in combination with resection of fistula, drainage from the tooth and primary closure of the facial wound. All cases were cured completely within two weeks after surgery.
