  • Look Inside

Four patients developed hearing loss suddenly after dancing for about half an hour in a discotheque.

The hearing impairment might have occured by being exposed to loudly amplified rock and roll music. Audiogram of the hearing impairment resembled to that of noise induced sudden deafness, of genuine sudden deafness and of the acoustic trauma, partially.

We concluded that they should keep away from being exposed to loud sound in such discotheques or rock and roll concerts when they had drunk or were too tired.
