頭部・顔面のMorphea（斑状強皮症）の1例

A CASE REPORT OF MORPHRA (CIRCUMSCRIBED SCLERODERMA)

　I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域におけるMorphea（斑状強皮症circumscribed scleroderma）の報告は本邦では過去20年間にはみられず，あまり知られていない疾患である。今回筆者らはMorpheaの1例を経験し，時々みられる進行性顔面半側萎縮症との鑑別が困難であり，この点に関して若干の考察を行ったので，報告する。

　A case of a 55-year-old female with Morphea is described. Morphea is characterized by sclerosed and bound down skin and atrophic alopecia.

　We found that the skin in alopecia was bound down to the underlying structure microspically. Morphea is very difficult to differentiate from true facial hemiatrophy, but in hemiatrophy no such hair loss occurs. The pathological difference between Morphea and true facial hemiatrophy was discussed.
