耳管開放症の治療について—Gelfoam powder solutionの耳管内注入法を中心として

TREATMENT OF EUSTACHIAN TUBE PATENCY, EUSTACHIAN TUBE INSTILLATION OF GELFORM POWDER SOLUTION

　I．緒言

　著者らは従来，耳管開放症の治療としてはもつぱらサリチル酸とホウ酸の混合粉沫を用いたいわゆるBezold^7）の噴霧療法を行なつてきた。

　しかし，この方法では効果が不確実なことが多く，しかも数日間にわたつて連日噴霧しなければ効果が現われず，中には治療を続けているうちに中耳炎や中耳耳管カタルを合併するなどの強い副作用を来たす例が多かつた。そこでこの方法を反省し，確実な効果があり，かつ簡易で副作用の少ない方法としてgelfoam powder solutionの耳管内注入法を本症患者16例22耳に対して試みた結果，きわめて有効であつたので，本法による治療成績に文献的考察を加え，併せて本症の病態生理ならびに治療指針について耳管機能検査をもとにして著者らの考えを述べる。

　For the treatment of abnormally patent Eustachian tube the authors employed Bezold's spray method in and around the tubal entrance. However, such treatments more often than not resulted in uncertainty in effect and numerous complications.

　Thereupon, the treatment of this disease was interchanged to that of employment of instillation of gelform powder solution directly into the Eustachian tube. Twenty two ears in 16 patients made a full recovery in all cases by the present method.
