鼻咽腔に発生した未熟円形細胞肉腫の1症例

AN UNDIFFERENTIATED ROUND CELL SARCOMA

　I．はじめに

　一般に乳幼児において鼻咽腔に原発する悪性腫瘍は比較的稀なものとされているが著者らは鼻茸と診断され再度にわたり摘出手術をうけ，その後急速な臨床症状の悪化をみとめ全経過約10ヵ月にて死の転帰をたどり病理解剖において鼻咽腔に発生した未分化円形細胞肉腫と診断された例を知見したので報告する。

　A boy, aged 10, suffered from chronic nasal syndrome for a period of one year, and, during which he was treated by a laryngologist elsewhere.

　Endoscopic examination revealed growth of nasal polyps which had been removed previously. Recurrence of the polyposis was seen after several occasions of removal. However, a few days after the final operation the patient died of cardiac failure.

　Pathological examination of the removed specimen showed the growth to be an undifferentiated round cell sarcoma.
