喉頭部分摘出術の適応と治療成績について

INDICATIONS FOR PARTIAL LARYNGECTOMY WITH THERAPEUTIC RESULTS

　喉頭機能保全手術のうち声門上水平喉頭部分摘出術，喉頭半摘出術，および喉頭亜全摘出術は治療的にも安全で機能保存の目的を全うし得る手術である。

　放射線治療の適応を越えた喉頭癌症例の60％はこれらの喉頭部分摘出術によつて治療し得る。

　喉頭部分摘出術は喉頭全摘出術よりも高い治癒率を示す。

　喉頭部分摘出術と喉頭形成術とを鼓室形成に対比して体系づけることを提案した。

　For preservation of functional larynx following laryngeal surgery for treatment of malignancy, hemilaryngectomy and subtotal laryngectomy with or without laryngeal reconstruction appear to be the operation of choice.

　Sixty percent of laryngeal cancers considered as beyond the stage of responsive radiotherapy were treated with subtotal laryngectomy with fair results.

　Treatment response to subtotal laryngectomy appeared to be much greater than that to total laryngectomy.
