口蓋腫瘍について

TUMOR OF THE PALATE

　I．はじめに

　原発性口蓋腫瘍は口蓋を形成する粘膜，結合織，脈管，骨，小唾液腺などあらゆるものから発生し多彩であるが，特に特徴的なことは小唾液腺に由来する腫瘍が比較的多いことであろう。

　原発性口蓋腫瘍は稀なものでないが，本邦における報告は比較的少なく，佐藤ら^14）によれば，昭和39年までに237例が報告されているにすぎないという。

At the Otolaryngological Department of the Saku Hospital, 22 cases of palatal tumors were collected in the period of 5 years, January through December, 1969.

Twelve cases of this group proved to be benign; 10 cases were malignant. Majority of malignant cases appeared to be epitheliomas.There was 1 case of mucoepidermoid tumor.
