めまい症例—Craniopharyngiomaの1例

VERTIGO, A CASE OF CRANIOPHARYNGIOMA

　近年頭蓋内疾患，とりわけ部位，性状の診断に対し耳鼻科領域で発達してきた平衡機能検査法の重要性が認識されるようになつてきた。とくに基礎的な問題点の解明も進み，検査法の進歩もあつて臨床的なデータのもつ意義が的確にとらえられ解釈されるようになつた^1）〜7）。

　私どもは今回経験した脳腫瘍の一症例から日常の臨床において実施している耳-神経学的検査すなわち平衡機能および聴覚の検査が診断，とくに病巣診断に如何に寄与したかについて検討を行なつてみた。あわせてこれまての文献を参考にし若干の考察を行なつた。

　A tumor of cerebellopontine angle particularly, and acoustic neurinoma was suspected in man, aged 23, at the time of his entry to the hospital.

　With craniotomy a craniopharyngioma was found to be located on the clivus blumenbachii. Studies on this patient was made from neuro-otological standpoint in the post operative-follow-up.
