食道入孔部より発生した脂肪腫の1例

ESOPHAGEAL LIPOMA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　食道上部，下咽頭，喉頭より発生する良性腫瘍は稀で，従来十数例報告されているにすぎない。そのほとんどは線維腫および脂肪腫である。私どもも，食道入孔部後壁より発生し，下咽頭および喉頭をおおつていた大きな脂肪腫の1例を経験したのでここに報告する。

　An esophageal lipoma that covered the lower pharynx is reported. A man, aged 43, complained of a mild throat discomfort without any marked symptoms of difficulty in deglutition nor breathing. The growth was removed surgically through external cervical approach under a general anaesthesia. The lipoma the size of a pigeon's egg that originated from the posterior esophageal wall was removed. The patient made an uneventful recovery with no recurrence at the end of the year postoperatively.
