上顎洞根本手術に起因せる慢性涙嚢炎について

STUDIES ON CHRONIC DACROCYSTITIS WHICH OCCURRED AS A COMPLICATION TO RADICAL MAXILLARY SINUS OPERATION

Ⅰ．緒言

　鼻腔，副鼻腔と眼窩とは局所解剖学的に相隣接した器官であり，鼻，副鼻腔疾患に起因した眼疾患もいろいろある。その一つに上顎洞根本手術後に続発せる慢性涙嚢炎がある。

　上顎洞根本手術はきわめて一般的な手術であり，耳鼻咽喉科領域では広く行なわれているが，その手術的侵襲が眼に影響を及ぼすことはしばしばある。1905年Leblondは上顎洞根本手術後に鼻涙管狭窄をおこした症例を報告し，1912年Killianは上顎洞根本手術により鼻涙管を損傷する危険性を注意し，最近でも1956年北村^11）はparanasal法を考按し，その内で鼻涙管に注意をうながしている。

　The authors met 6 cases, 7 sides, of chronic dacrcystitis which occurred consequent to radical operation performed on the maxillary sinus. Favorable results in these cases were obtained by reoperating and removing the cause which disturbed the free flow of nasal lacrymal fluid. Such a disturbance was usually caused by scar tissue formation near the exit of the nasal lacrymal duct and seldom by any injury incurred upon the bony portion of the same duct.
