限局性良性大脳血栓性静脈炎と思われる1例

A CIRCUMSCRIBED BENIGN CEREBRAL THROMBOPHLEBITIS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　中耳炎およびその手術に関連して起る頭蓋内合併症は今日抗生物質の利用により非常にまれになつたが，わたくしどもは最近，脳膿瘍を思わせる頭蓋内症状を呈したあとで，急速にしかも完全に恢復した耳性合併症の1例を経験し，この状態がいわゆる脳静脈洞血栓症とは異なるものとして報告されている限局性良性脳血栓性静脈炎（Circumscribed Benign Cerebral Thrombophlebitis）に類似していると思われるので報告する。

　Following a radical mastoidectomy the patient was making a normal recovery for 2 days. Suddenly on the 3rd day, however, the patient complained of severe nausea and vomitted, symptoms of intracranial pressure. But soon thereafter, these symptoms disappeared suddenly as they came and the patient made an uneventful recovery. The authors believe the sudden turn to the worse was the result of circumscribed benign cerebral thrombophlebitis.
